Dr. Clarence Wiley, Sr. obtained his M.D. degree in 1977 from Brown University in Providence, RI., where he also completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He was the second African-American to complete this respected seven-year program and the first to receive all three possible degrees.
Dr. Wiley is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has been a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is the past Chairman of the Dermatology Section of the National Medical Association, representing African-American Dermatologists in the U.S.A. and Canada.

Mission Statement
From the time I entered the field of dermatology in 1978 as a first-year resident at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, I had two goals in mind. First, I sought to expand my knowledge of dermatological care while gaining first-hand patient experience. Second, I wanted to provide the safest and most effective therapies to all patients who sought my services.
